Candice's Solo Mommy and Me Monday!

For all of you that read Carrie's blog normally I am sure that you have heard of me (Candice) or my kiddos (Alyssa and Nico) mentioned in a few of the posts. We are all great friends and LOVE to spend fun times together.  As a way of supporting our great friends, Javier and I offered to watch Little Emily and Mister Will for a couple of days so that Carrie and Andy could finally celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary! And I am a guest writer for today's Mommy and Me Monday Blog!!!

We wanted to keep with the tradition of Mommy and Me Monday since the kids are getting so accustomed to doing something FUN on Mondays, but I couldnt' do it without some help from a Daddy today!  We decided to take the kids to Pump It Up here in Bakersfield.  We have a family friend who works there and raves about how much fun the kids have! They have Family Time everyday from 10- 11:30 a.m. for all of those families that want to get out of the heat and do something fun before lunch and nap time.  The kids had a blast! Even Will wanted to play on the slides and tried to get into the big kid toys all on his own.

They were so hungry after playing so hard for an hour, we decided to treat them to McDonald's Happy Meals (not a frequent treat in our house) and ice cream cones!

A true sign of the fun they had was seeing them all fall asleep in their car seats on the way home. :)
