Mommy and Me Monday- Ornaments

This week we did a mommy and me activity with all our friends on the road during our vacation. Friday night we wanted to get to kids in the Christmas spirit for the Polar Express ride we took on Saturday (Christmas started early in our little circle). So our friend Erin came up with a great craft for the kids, ornament making. She had taken two types of Christmas fabric and cut them into circles and sewed them along with a ribbon for hanging almost shut.

The kids added the stuffing (quilters batting) and a bell and we hand stitched the hole that was left. The kids then took the finished ornament and decorated a small tree that was in Erin's travel trailer. They loved their ornaments and we had such a great time with them. They would make great gifts or perfect for a Christmas tree in a house with little kids!
