Santa was here!

Last night we had a late night visit from Santa. As he brought in gifts I woke her up and said "Look Em, who's that?".

She looked up in amazement and replied "It's Santa!".

I picked her up so we could go take a peak together and he turned around and gave a jolly little laugh and said "Hi Emmy! Would you like a candy cane?". She said yes and just stared at it for a second not sure if it was real. After she grabbed it he offered her another one saying it was for her brother, Will. Then told her to go back to sleep, it was time for him to head back up the chimney.

So I took her back to bed and snuggled her in to her blankets and she rolled onto her side and fell asleep, still clutching two candy canes.
