Taking a Snow Day

Lately the weather has been a little crazy here, just as it is everywhere.  Rain has been falling in record numbers, snow has showed up in strange places, and it is really cold.  Yesterday we decided it was time to take a day off and head out into the snow to have a fun snow day with the kids. 

It turned out to be a really fun day playing with the kids.  Our best friends came along for the fun with their kids too.  They loved the snow, loved the sleds, and loved the special time out.  I love taking time outs from life to do special things for our kids.  They are young for such a short amount of time, I can only hope to squeeze in pleny of play time before they grow out of it.
